ADV: WHY YOU NO JOIN PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST?

I've actually blogged an advertorial entry regarding the photography contest organized by Petronas here!

Since it's CNY, and I think you guys want big ang paos right, and also, I think most of my blog readers are photography enthusiasts!

BUT WHY YOU ALL NO JOIN???

Probably you guys were pretty occupied with CNY right, no time to even switch on your laptop or something, but now it's almost the end of CNY, so no excuse you're busy already!!

Apparently my previous photo that I chose to join the contest was being rejected by the judges from Petronas. 

It was my fault, cos I didn't read the terms and conditions. I should have posted a photo related to CNY and also I edited the photo which I shouldn't have. 

So guys, please read the instructions before joining!!! 

Anyway, if you're lazy to read (like me which I've totally regretted that I did not do so), lesson learnt, I summarized the FAQ part for you guys!

• Submit a photo representing your interpretation of "REIMAGINING ENERGY" with theme of Chinese New Year!                                                                                             

• Submission ends on 12th of February (2359 hrs)                                                       

• There are different categories such as Mobile, Camera professionals, Camera Amateurs, University/College goers, School goers and Petronas staffs. 

• First prize is RM 2000 (Check out the prizes, they are way too tempting!) 

• You can edit the photos BUT only digital image enhancement is allowed and limited to cropping, hue, saturation, exposure, white balance, red eye removal and sharpness adjustment.

So I've joined and submitted another photo under the camera amateurs categories, and yeah, it got approved!!

Woots, the theme of my photo is of course the starry effect I managed to capture using my DSLR! Pretty cool right, even it looks kinda out of focus anyway!
